About Lakeland Tractor
Lakeland Tractor is based in Lakeland, Florida. I buy dead tractors, rough tractors, incomplete tractors, and old tractors that are no longer worth restoring for regular use. Some become parts tractors, some get saved, and some turn into restoration projects.
What I do: Buy dead tractors, restore old iron, and keep hard-to-find tractor parts in circulation.
What Tractors I Prefer
I look at many different makes, but I have special interest in Ford, Ferguson, John Deere, Kubota, and Case tractors.
I am also especially interested in steel wheel tractors. Steel wheel tractors are tractors with wheels that do not take tires. These older tractors are harder to find and are a special interest whenever they turn up.
Buying Dead Tractors
If it has been sitting for years, does not run, has a bad engine, bad hydraulics, missing parts, or is just plain rough, I may still buy it. I do not pay top dollar for rough tractors, but I buy most anything if the price makes sense.
I pay cash and can usually arrange pickup quickly in the Lakeland, Florida area.
Parts and Restorations
Some tractors are too far gone to save, but they still have many good usable parts. Those tractors get dismantled and the parts are listed by tractor model so buyers can find the right parts more easily.
Other tractors are worth saving and may be restored and resold. I enjoy old iron, and I like keeping good tractors and usable parts out of the scrap pile.
Have a tractor to sell?
I buy dead, rough, and non-running tractors in the Lakeland area. Running condition is not important - the right model and price are.
